From July 2008 - Picture from Schnebly Hill Road Trail Head looking east. Named after Carl Schnebly who built a home and general store near Oak Creek in 1900. We was the areas fiorst postmaster and name the postal station Sedona after his wife. The road traverses some very rough terrain from the roundabout at 179 all the way  up east to Interstate 17. High clearance vehicles are required, but the ride provides some scenic views.
