This picture from 2011 illustrates one reason why we no longer live in Chicago. Wrigley misses the snow, we don't miss the snow or the bitter cold. #ChicagoWinter #Labrador #Snow #BitterCold

I've always been amazed at the number of people that don't visit the sites within their own area but do all the touristy things in other parts of the country/world. Several years ago I was at a conference at the Grand Canyon that included folks from Arizona High Schools and Colleges. I was shocked at the number of them that had never visited the Grad Canyon previously. This picture from 2013 is a view of the Watchtower in the Desert View area on the east end of the Grand Canyon. The Colorado Rover is to the left. We discovered a "trail" that leads down below the tower for a better view of the river as well. #GrandCanyon #Arizona #DesertViewWatchTower #USNationalParks
Two photos from Devil's Bridge in Sedona, Arizona. The top photo are my two friends standing in the middle of the top of the bridge, the bottom a view from underneath where they are standing. When I first discovered Devil's Bridge in 2007, there were not a lot of visitors, so it was a great place to sit and meditate or just admire the quiet and beauty of Red Rock Country. Today, there are so many visitors on most days here is a line of people waiting to get their pictures taken. #DevilsBridge #SedonaArizona #RedRockCountry #Meditation
From June, 2015 - Watson Lake Prescott, Arizona. A view of Granite Mountain in the background.
#PrescottArizona #Sunrise The top photo was taken January 4, 2022 from Prescott, Arizona with a telephoto lens. The second January 9, 2016 from Highway 89A in Prescott, showing a thin layer of clouds in the valley towards Flagstaff
