The flag topped dome of the Savannah City Hall lights up the sky above the Georgia Queen Riverboat's own flag on Historic River Street. Completed in 1905, the dome of City Hall was covered in gold leaf in 1987.
The Georgia River Queen was built in 1997 to replicate an 1800's paddlewheel style riverboat. Originally used as a floating casino on the Mississippi River, the boat moved to Savannah in 2016 when laws allowed land based casinos. #Savannah #SavannahCityHall #GeorgiaQueenRiverBoat #HistoricRiverStreet. #HistoricSavannah #Georgia

A respite from 2 days of snow, lets visit a scene from 2015 as watch a sailboat cruise past us while we eat lunch.
#sailboat #StMartin #SintMaarten #TurquoiseWater #Carribean From 2011 in Palatine, Illinois - Wrigley Riggs leaps to catch snow thrown from a shovel. He loves playing in the snow. He fetches snowballs, snow coming off a shovel or a snow blower. He's a lot older now, his jumps don't get nearly as high, but the spirit is willing to try.
#Labrador #Snow #FetchSnow #YellowLab #WinterScene Even in Arizona we get snow - From March 2023 Wrigley and Cubby (pictured here) love playing in the snow - We get just enough for them to play and remind us why we moved from the Chicago area.

Due to prescribed burns in the area there is a little bit of haze around Courthouse and Bell. These burns help prevent more serious and devastating wildfires.

#Bison #YellowstoneNationalPark From November 1, 2020 The moon sets at sunrise above a Saguaro Cactus in the McDowell Mountain Preserve, Scottsdale, Arizona. They can grow up to 52 feet tall and 30 inches in diameter, with as many as 50 arms. Slow growing, they routinely live 150-200 years. It may take as many as 50 years to reach a height of 3 feet.
