Lady Liberty

A couple of different views of the Statue Of Liberty. The statue is a figure of Libertas, was designed by Frederic Bartholdi and wasa gift from the people of France to the United Stat4es. Dedicated October 28, 1886, Lady Liberty holds a torch in her left hand and a tablet inscribed with roman numerals listing the date of the United States Declaration of Independence, There is a broken shackle at her feet commemorating the abolition of slavery.
