Buckingham Fountain - Chicago Illinois (July 29, 2011)

The Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain was designed by Edward H. Bennett in a style reminiscent of the Latona Fountain at the Palace of Versailles.  Built at a cost of $750,000  it was dedicated in 1927 and donated to the city of Chicago by Kate S. Buckingham. It is one of the largest fountains in the world.
