Hendricks Head Light

Established in 1829, the Hendricks Head Light in Southport Maine marks the west side of the Sheepscot River. The present structure dates to 1875 and is currently a private summer residence. The light was relit in 1951 after being deactivated in 1933. Hendricks Head Light was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
