Hanging Lake

Picture is from 2013 - Hanging Lake is located in Glenwood Canyon just outside of Glenwood Springs Colorado. Named a Natural Landmark in 2011 a permit is required for hiking. There is a 1.2 mile trail with a ,000 foot elevation gain up Dead Horse Creek Canyon that takes you to this natural wonder of a lake that seems to be hanging from the mountainside.
