Fort St. Louis

From 2014 A canon in Fort St. Louis Marigot French side St. Martin.
 
Marigot was made capital of St Martin while King Louis XVI.  During his reign, the fort was built in 1789 to defend the island and it’s settlement and warehouses of coffee, salt, sugarcane and rum from British and Ditch pirates.
 
The fort I located on the west side of St. Martin on the Marigot Bay. While the fort is now abandoned, you can visit and walk among the fort. You will find amazing 360 degree views of the area.
