"Give yourself a gift of five minutes of contemplation in awe of everything you see around you. Go outside and turn your attention to the many miracles around you. This five-minute-a-day regimen of appreciation and gratitude will help you to focus your life in awe." - Wayne Dyer Carved by the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon reaches a depth of 6,093 feet and is 277 miles long and up to 18 miles wide. This includes not only the United State National Park, but the areas within the Hualapai and Havasupai Indian Reservations, the Navajo Nation, the Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument and the Kaibab National Forest. The Grand Canyon was designated a National Monument by Theodore Roosevelt in 1908. Woodrow Wilson established it as the 17th National Park on February 26, 1919. #GrandCanyon #ColoradoRiver #Awe #Gratitude #Arizona #contemplation
