The Superstition Mountains provide the backdrop for the Elvis Presley Memorial Chapel at the Superstition Mountain Lost Dutchman Museum west of Phoenix Arizona. The chapel was a movie prop from Elvis's 1969 movie "Charro" and was donated to the museum. The movie was filmed in Apache Junction and the surrounding Superstition Mountains.
