The snow capped San Francisco Peaks rise up above the Granite Dells and Willow Lake as the sun sets behind me in beautiful Prescott, Arizona USA.
Located just north of Flagstaff, Arizona, the San Francisco Peaks are 90 miles north of Prescott. The San Francisco Peaks consist of 3 main peaks. The tallest is Humphreys Peak which rises 12,633 feet, while the shortest is Fremont Peak at 11,969 feet. Agassiz Peak is 12, 356 feet. Three additional peaks, Doyle (11,464 feet); Rees (11,474 feet) and Schultz (10,083) make up the remainder of what is known as the San Francisco Peaks.
