Wrigley (the best dog ever) sits in front of a cabin in Mississippi Palisades Park in Savannah, Illinois. Located on the confluence of the Mississippi and Apple Rivers, the park was first acquired by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources in 1929. In 1973 the US Department of Interior designated it a Unique Natural Landmark. The cabin was built by the Civilian Conservation Corp in 1935. Palisades is the word use to describe steep lofty cliffs along a river. #MississippiPalisadesPark #SavannahIllinois #MississippiRiver #CivilianconservationCorp #appleRiver #Palisades #LabradorRetriever #BestDogEver
