Horses at Red Cliffs

Nine horses pose for me while visiting Red Cliffs National Conservation Area just an hour away from Zion National Park. I love to visit National Parks, but some of the other national areas, as well as State Parks offer similar exquisite views and hiking opportunities. If you are visiting Zion, (or maybe Las Vegas) take a side trip or two and visit and hike Red Cliffs or Snow Canyon State Park. You will not be disappointed.

The 45,000 acres of Red Cliffs was designated a Conservation area in 2009. The federal government owns or controls 68% of the land in Utah, mostly through the BLM.
