I don't know if I knew of the American Cancer Society before I met Shelly, even though my dad had Prostate Cancer. 17 years ago I went to my first Relay For Life which Shelly led with a group of others over the course of the remaining years we lived in Palatine. In honor of Shelly and all the others fighting cancer I am participating in the October 2025 Photo of the day challenge to raise money in the fight for cancer. The ACS provides critical services for those fighting this evil disease. Each day starting October 1 I will post my picture on this page and on my fundraising page which you can access by clicking the button to donate above. 
If you are inclined, a donation is appreciated. If you purchase a digital download of the photo, 25% of your purchase will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Otherwise enjoy the photos and remember those who have fought the good fight.
